Henrique Lopes, Daniela Godinho and Raquel Conceição, members of 3BAtwin from FC.ID/CIÊNCIAS, published a systematic review paper titled “Quantitative Evaluation of Repeatability in Medical Microwave Imaging: A Systematic Review” on IEEE Access.
Following PRISMA guidelines, the authors carried out the first systematic review examining how repeatability is currently evaluated in medical microwave imaging (MMWI). Repeatability is a crucial factor for translating MMWI into clinical practice. Despite its significance, there is currently no consensus on how it should be measured or reported across different systems. The review offers clear, practical recommendations aimed at harmonising repeatability assessment in future MMWI research.
The paper is openly available here.
