Researchers from FCiências.ID and CIÊNCIAS are finishing their scientific missions to the University of Galway to perform dielectric measurements on human tissues.
On May 21st to 22nd, PhD student Rafaella Coelho (FC.ID/CIÊNCIAS) conducted measurements on different human tissues from 2 patients. On June 26th and June 29th, PhD student Henrique Lopes and researcher Daniela Godinho performed the first complete analysis of the data at the Translational Medical Device Lab (TMD-Lab) in the University of Galway.
Beyond providing specialised training, these missions have allowed FC.ID/CIÊNCIAS researchers to collect valuable data on the dielectric properties of biological tissues, contributing to ongoing advancements in the field.
