FC.ID and TecLabs’ staff in mentoring and missions to GALWAY

Last January, staff from FCiências.ID and TecLabs (CIÊNCIAS Innovation Centre) finished their mentoring and missions with GALWAY.

Around 12 staff from FCiências.ID participated in several online meetings with GALWAY’s staff including the following topics:

  • Promoting Engagement with EU Calls (Dr. Oonagh Dwane & Dr. Gary Lupton)
  • Business Plan Development (Fiona Neary)
  • IP and Licensing (Camille O’Malley)
  • Research Impact (Áine Mhic Thaidhg)

On the 26th of January 2026, two members of CIÊNCIAS’ Innovation Centre – TecLabs did a short-mission to GALWAY. The main goal of this visit was to explore and better understand GALWAY’s innovation ecosystem, widely recognized for its strong collaboration between research, technology, and healthcare needs.

As 3BAtwin’s Work Package 6 comes to an end, we celebrate a strong outcome: focused capacity building within the research management offices of FC.ID and CIÊNCIAS, and a strengthened collaboration between them.
