From the 14th to the 16th of January, FCiências.ID/CIÊNCIAS hosted a “Training School on Management of Technology Transfer“, organised by the University of Galway (GALWAY) under Work Package 6, at Instituto de Biofísica e Engenharia Biomédica (IBEB) and online.
The school gathered a total of 38 participants, including project managers, administrative staff from innovation centers and researchers: 25 participants from FC.ID/CIÊNCIAS (in-person and online), and 3 from GALWAY. In addition, the school featured 10 invited speakers from GALWAY and the Bioinnovate Program.
The three-day school included topics on technology transfer and experiences of collaborations between industry and academia, private fundraising in Medtech, and examples of the GALWAY’s ecosystem including Ideaslab and student entrepreneurship.
