From the 27th to the 29th of May, the administration staff from FCiências.ID (FC.ID) and TecLabs from Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa (CIÊNCIAS) attended a “Workshop on scouting research projects” organised by the University of Galway (GALWAY). The workshop gathered 18 people in-person and 13 online, including managers, researchers and speakers from both GALWAY and FC.ID.
The three-day workshop included topics related to scouting and supporting high-potential research, translating research into commercial outcomes and institutional knowledge, tools, and EU funding. The staff from FC.ID and CIÊNCIAS will now leverage the knowledge they have gathered to improve their pipelines for scouting projects and their innovation and entrepreneurship programmes. Virtual follow-up meetings will take place to further consolidate the newly acquired knowledge.
